Mt. Van Hoevenberg is located 9 miles from Lake Placid, New York. I hiked this mountain starting out at 4:30 AM in order to reach the 2940 foot peak by sunrise. This panorama is composed of multiple images in order to capture the entire view of the Adirondack High Peaks. Color was at peak and there was a temperature inversion. It was one of the most spectacular sunrises I have ever seen. It truly was a miracle to get the image I was hoping for.
