Wasp on Nest with Eggs
Subject:
Wasp
Location:
Inside a BBQ grill, Boise, Idaho
Description:
To make these nests, wasps find weathered wood, sourced from old fences or porches, and chew this wood fiber into a paste-like pulp mixed with their saliva. Then they form this pulp into hexagon-shaped paper cells to hold their eggs.
