Description:
I loved the original image of a puffin flying against big waves, but it is just slightly blurred, more than I can fix. I decided to increase the color saturation, then take it into PHotoshop and use sky replacement to replace the seas with stormy clouds. What resulted as to replace the upper half of the image with stormy clouds, but the waves at the bottom remained. I then ran it through Topaz Impression and created a painterly look, and, once I had that, I repeated it again entire second run through Impression, this time focusing on the brush strokes, width, length, amount of paint per stroke. then back to Lightroom to work on tonal values and vibrance and...voila! Now I hope you won't notice that the original bird picture was blurred!
