Female Northern Bobwhite Quail and a Male and Female Northern Cardinal

Description:
Was very lucky to get this image. Had just entered the blind and the two Cardinals were on the perch. Saw a Female Northern Bobwhite Quail walking toward the perch and thought just maybe she will jump up on the perch. My camera was on the floor of the blind, picked up the camera just in case, turned it on, and just then the Quail jumped up on the perch. Didn't have time to set shutter speed, ISO, exposure or anything else. Got only two images and this is the first one that I took. I had been photographing that morning and luckily the settings were just about perfect. Proves once again that it's always better to be lucky than good.
