Description:
We live in the middle of the Black Forest with many trees and therefore many birds. This past summer, a pair of Western Bluebirds had a nest in a dead, abandoned tree in our backyard. Only one chick was there which was quite enough to keep the harried parents busy delivering food to satisfy an unsatiable appetite. In this image, the mother is attempting to stabilize her landing as her baby is ready to accept without question whatever she has for him. I personally think she needs a delivery account with Grub Hub.
