Newborn "Red Dog" Bison calf

Description:
A bison cow had just dropped this newborn calf on the front lawn of the Mammoth Hot Springs Post Office. The meconium (first stool) is still visible on its rear end. This photo was taken with a long lens at ground level and cropped to accomplish the desired effect. The calf was not pressured.
