Gibbons Falls in Winter
Julie Picardi
Location:
Yellowstone National Park
Description:
Winter in Yellowstone is an extraordinary time for photography, with the ice and snow lending themselves to interesting landscapes. At this time Gibbons Falls was still roaring, the water cutting a path through the ice and snow intent upon its journey. The colors of the blue water and evergreen trees juxtaposed against the white pristine snow and brown rock provided a beautiful contrast in a world of white.
