Thank you, Roger Clark, for your presentation on the difference between DSLR and Mirrorless cameras. I switched from Nikon to Sony a couple of years ago and found that the mirrorless offered so much new information that it left me confused at times. After much trial and error, I found that setting up the camera was crucial to success with those fast action shots. I used Steve Perry's Setup Guide for Wildlife Photography to be the most helpful. He may have one for the Canon cameras, but you should check his website. If not, others offer similar setup instructions. For my Sony, I needed to switch on and off eye detection depending on what it was focusing on. That needs to be part of the camera setup. I also needed to switch off and on for the 3D tracking. Anyway, I found the instructional manuals very helpful.
