Out of the blue I have had Adobe software problems: Lightroom opens and immediately crashes; Premier Pro, Bridge, and Adobe Creative Cloud all won't open at all. The only one that is still working is Photoshop. Is it a virus? I tried without success to reload them. I can't update without Creative Cloud. Should I uninstall them all and start over? Any ideas why this has happened?

I would go to Adobe.com/support for assistance. If you sort through the page, you will find a way to speak with them by phone. I hope this helps.

Another thought- are your apps up to date? I found a phone number in my notes for Adobe Customer Care. Call 800.833.6687.

I can't update the apps because I can't get Adobe Creative Cloud to load. But thanks Julie for the phone number I will call them when I have a few hours to burn.

Do you have any other computer problems? Maybe it's related to the operation system or maybe it's malware. But I would start by completely uninstalling ALL of the Adobe apps, then see if you can install Creative Cloud and try to run it. If you still have a problem try this: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/cc-cleaner-tool-installation-problems.html it's the Adobe Cloud Cleaner tool. Do you have any other strange behavior on the computer? You could install the Malwarebytes free version and see what it finds.
Good luck, Jim

Thanks Jim, I do have Malwarebytes on this computer. I suspect I could have a virus anyway. Thanks for the link. I'll try that.

Didn't Adobe come out with new minimum hardware requirements for their latest software?

I'm just back from Kenya and could put my attention to solving this problem. As Jim Esten advised I deleted all my Adobe software. Lastly, I went to delete my Creative Cloud and up popped an option that said "Repair" instead of uninstall. That worked! Then through Creative Cloud I updated all my apps, and thus far it appears they are working again. Thanks everyone for your suggestions.
