Glenn Mai, a friend of mine whom I met on a trip to Brooks Falls, Alaska to photograph bears, sent me the following about an upcoming trip. I'm posting this in case some of you want to consider going:

"I've been in contact with Kurt Johnson, who runs a tour company in Jackson Hole. Kurt and Justin are good friends and have run several trips together in the past and they are currently working on an Alaskan field guide together. Kurt has a 3 day (1 travel day) trip in Yellowstone/Tetons during the ram rut, and I'm trying to see if anyone else would be interested in going. Kurt is hoping to get a critical mass of people to go on the trip before he can commit to running it -- I've attached link to the short trip description below and I'm going to ask for some additional details from him -- in particular how he would handle cancellations / flight issues, etc, etc, given the current uncertainty. Mary and I enjoyed traveling with all of you and I thought I'd reach out to see if there was any interest on your part.

The trip runs from Nov 19-22, 2020 and coss $1650 per person (double occupancy) or $1850 for a single. Kurt has vans similar to the ones that we took around from the Gold Creek Lodge in Alaska, except that there are hatches on top that allow for photography from inside the van."
